So I completed the hitch this Easter in approx. 13 rides through France and Spain. It was absolutely amazing, all our drivers were lovely, most notably Marc (who put us up for one night in his gorgeous apartment in Perpignan, S. France- made us dinner and breakfast too!), Mime [pron. 'Meme'] (who played Bob Marley in her car for us) and the poor drivers who picked us up in the rain! Highly recommend it to everyone- you never know what's gonna happen or where you're gonna end up for the night so if you fancy an adventure- do it!!

In Morocco!! [~ORIGINAL POST~]

We arrived a couple of days ago, had a nightmare of a night train to Marrakech, I got spat on as soon as we arrived (yay for racism.. not!) but we have now met up with Mo and having lots of fun. The weather is gorgeous, if not a little too hot for my "english rose" skin as the boys say I have...

Had a hammam - sauna - yesterday and never felt so clean and soft as I did after :D
Enjoying the souks (Arabic for markets), cuisine and the main square at night - and day except the people hassling you can be scary - I almost got stabbed with a henna needle [they use plastic syringes here that don't look very clean!!] on my hand because people just grab you and try and put things in your hands all the time :/

Managed to haggle my first thing - a straw hat - down to 20dirhams from 50dirhams yesterday too :D

Hopefully gonna go to the Sahara, the Atlas mountains and Fez before we leave though on the 11th but the boys are leaving in a couple of days :(

Anyways, i cant do my blog thing from here from my phone so will see you all at home/newcastle when i get back :D lots of love xxx

Malaga [~ORIGINAL POST~]

Just enjoyed lunch in this square. Reunited with Hetal and Anuj last night and went out for dinner and drinks. Went to the beach in the dark too :D gonna hitch to Algercias to get the ferry to MOROCCO WOOP!! Xx
